As the Facility Security Officer, responsible for successfully administering the locations National Industrial Security and propreitary security programs for the proper protection of personnel and government/company assets.
Additionally, provides on-site liaison activities to support the centralized corporate Environmental Health and Safety program as well as the Facilities function to assure adequate infrastructure including office planning, office furniture, office equipment and installation.
Liaison to property owner/property management to maintain building and grounds, oversee janitorial services and general maintenance of site.
Develop, administer and maintain a personnel security program for the processing of facility and personnel security clearances, conduct DoD initial and recurring security briefings and debriefings.
Develop and implement an employee education and training program to assure the security awareness on the part of all employees.
Implement an effective visitor control program to include the processing of outgoing and incoming classified visit requests.
Implement the company visitor background investigation policy requirements.
Maintain an employee and visitor identification badge program per company standards.
Maintain an approved classified security container program.
Responsible for the Information Security program that includes the administering Prime and Subcontract Contract Security Classification Specifications, classified material control and accountability, classified material audits, contract close-out and retention actions and COMSEC Account administration.
Review all formal publication and proposed public releases relating to classified contracts prior to release to insure compliance with Government Security directives.
Conduct an internal security program to maintain employee understanding and compliance with Security requirements for the proper marking, re-grade,storage, transfer and adherence to classified draft material requirements. Identify and reconcile discrepancies.
Provide classification guidance to employees to ensure proper classification markings, interpret customer classification requirements and conduct document/hardware downgrade/declassification reviews.
As the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) develop and maintain an effective Information Systems (IS) security program for the electronic processing of classified information. Develop system security plans, submit for government accreditation and maintain such ensuring compliance with contractual security requirements.
Develop and implement a physical security program that controls access to the buildings and internal secure areas to include supervisory oversight of the contract security force.
Establish the requirements for and monitor construction of Closed Areas and Special Access Areas. Coordinate the accreditation with the government. Manage the facility's automated intrusion detection and access control system.
Implement the company property control program for the protection of company/government property with regards to the introduction and removal of such material on the premises.
Act as the primary point of contact with government security representatives and local, state and federal law enforcement officials.





BS with 2 to 3 years of related experience

Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program requirements.
Must be able to successfully obtain a government granted clearance to include applicable polygraph.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is required.

Applicant must be capable of obtaining a U.S. security clearance.

Applicant must be a US Citizen.
