BS Degree in software engineering + 9 years of demonstrated results, or equivalent experience. Advanced Degree recommended. General Dynamics C4 Systems is a diverse and growing business. Our products include messaging systems, high speed encryption, network encryption, and computer products which are produced and sold worldwide. This position will be responsible for development of software for our secure hypervisor technology. Candidates will be involved in all phases of the software development process including but not limited to: requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, integration and systems test, debug, and support of our customers using this technology. Proven ability to analyze existing code, find bugs, and create solutions and is required. Requires ability to manage self effectively and to meet schedule commitments. Requires good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills to support work in a team environment and with our customers Familiarity and experience in each of the following areas is desired; C and x86 Assembly Language, real-time development, hardware interface programming, software test and integration, and familiarity with software development processes. Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: virtual machine technology, Linux kernel development, Linux device driver development, Linux application development, Windows device driver development, Rational Rose Modeling tools, ReqPro or Doors, ClearCase, ClearQuest, cvs. Must be able to travel 20% of the time. Applicant must be capable of obtaining a U.S. security clearance. Applicant must be a US Citizen.
