Job Description	General Dynamics SATCOM Technologies is positioned to provide solutions for global satellite and wireless communications requirements. Teach and implement the Lean Manufacturing Principles (1X1) 2. Maintaining KANBAN quantities for “Pull” system 3. Follow through with the Material Disposition for all Work In Process related to all Engineering Changes 4. Recommend improvements in Manufacturing Operations/Scheduling 5. Follow up on orders to ensure schedules are met 6. Assist MFG in problem solving activities, in order to help meet customer expectations 7. Communicate with other departments to ensure all necessary items (material or documentation) are available when needed by production personnel 8. Inventory management of Work in Process, Assembled and Finished Goods. 9. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations 10. Develops manufacturing plans as required to ensure customer orders are delivered on time 11. Maintains the cleanliness of the facility Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Inventory software; Internet software; Project Management software; Manufacturing software and Database software.
