Job Description	General Dynamics C4 Systems, based in Taunton, Massachusetts, offers mission-critical computing solutions for defense, government and commercial customers worldwide. Customers can fulfill all of their computing and network needs with General Dynamics’ full line of tactical and mobile-rugged computing products, embedded network-centric computing systems, mobile servers and secure thin clients. Using General Dynamics’ technical services, customers can build and implement total solutions that meet their exact needs. These offerings include systems integration; wireless network design and integration; and worldwide end-to-end life cycle support. Our customers include all branches of the U.S. military; public-safety organizations; and commercial field services in the insurance, communication, utilities, transportation and telecommunications industries worldwide. BS in Computer Science + 5 years of demonstrated results or equivalent experience. Business background in Finance and Operations is preferred. Technical: Provides 1st Tier technical and functional support for MRP (Exact MAX) and Financial (Great Plains) applications for local and remote users via Citrix Familiar with Engineering BOM structures Understanding of Sales Order and Purchasing Processes Performs moderate level support development of bug/enhancements requested to custom VB.net and C# applications Gathers detail systems requirements from clients Supports clients on small segments of business process projects Tests features of IT applications usually at a unit level Mentorship: Listens to and acts on mentor's advice Customer: Works with clients to develop and evaluate solutions by analyzing business needs and impact of solutions Has responsibility to conform to budget allowances Self-Management: Identifies training opportunities for self and others Independently identifies tasks or projects that need to be done and effectively prioritizes time to complete multiple assignments Teamwork: Participates actively in contributing to the team Ownership: Identifies alternatives in the midst of barriers to progress Process Improvement: Promotes process/policy compliance Supports continuous improvement initiatives Span of Organization Influence and Impact: IT project Influence/Persuasion: Provides input that is considered in group decision making Communication: Seeks feedback from listeners to insure the message has been accurately conveyed Is able to view a situation from another person's perspective and is able to articulate both sides of an argument Technology Skills: Visual Basic .NET, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server, MS Access, Crystal Reports Experience supporting Operations and Financial sytems preferred.
