Tasks/Duties: Perform export classification reviews and maintain a database for all ITRONIX/Tadpole products and components Prepare classification and one time review requests for submission to the General Dynamics C4 Systems Office of Import/Export Compliance Coordinate business unit export license requests for General Dynamics ITRONIX and Tadpole operations with the General Dynamics C4 Systems Office of Import/Export Compliance Facilitate local export and import activities (shipments, importations, etc.) for Tadpole and ITRONIX shipping activities conducted by contract manufacturer Maintain local procedures and provide procedural guidance and assist personnel in resolving export related issues. Assist in the conduct of export control self-audits. Report on compliance aspects of any import/export or other business activity as directed by the Manager, Office of Import/Export Compliance. Reports to: Direct line: Business Unit Director, General Dynamics ITRONIX Operations Dotted line: Manager, Office of Import/Export Compliance Organization: General Dynamics ITRONIX Operations Central Education/Experience: BS/BA; Minimum 2-5 years experience in import/export compliance activities including: export classification of products and components; preparation/review of export shipping documentation; filing/review of AES records; preparation of EAR one time review requests; maintaining local import/export policies and procedures; overseeing importations to ensure correct classification, valuation, origin; ensure import/export recordkeeping requirements are met. Certified U.S. Export Compliance Officer (USECO) a plus. Must be able to travel 20% of the time. Applicant must be a US Citizen.
