| Job Description |
General Dynamics C4 Systems provides its government and commercial customers around the globe with integrated network and communication solutions for mission critical applications including satellite communication, satellite operations, network systems and information services, blue force tracking, homeland security, detection, surveillance, intelligence, and emergency response.
Participates in discussions related to the identification of cause of problems/issues in the defined task or project assignment. Consistently demonstrate proficiency in the application of competence in a specific discipline. Evaluates and recommends options for tasks within assigned project activities. Participates in the strategic planning for new project(s) utilizing creative application of domain competence. Regular communication with internal customers and external vendors
Bachelor’s Technology Degree or Bachelor's Degree in an engineering support discipline (e.g., Management, Accounting) and a minimum of five (5) years of progressively more responsible directly related R&D engineering support experience, or have equivalent experience.
Specific knowledge in the following areas highly desireable:
o 24 x 7 satellite ground terminal maintenance and operations,
o Tracking, Telemetry, and Control Subsystems
o NASA Space Network - TDRSS program,
o Digital, IF, and RF equipment necessary to support user data services in the S and K Bands.
*Limited lump sum relocation benefit available.
Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is required.
