This position requires weekend works hours, e.g., Saturday & Sundays, 8:00am-4:00pm. Monday 4:00pm-12:00am, Thursday - 12:00am-8:00am, Friday 12:00am-8:00am

High School diploma or approved equivalent General Education Development (GED) diploma. General Dynamics experience is strongly preferred.

Create and maintain accurate records as assigned by management.

Screen and verify access authorization and register employees, clients, customers, sponsors, vendors and contractors at ingress and egress points. Maintain surveillance at ingress and egress points. Operate emergency notification, paging, and telephone and radio systems. Monitor and control personnel and material traffic at ingress and egress points. Monitor CCTV, alarm and access control systems and other physical security and emergency systems. Responds, documents and conducts preliminary investigations for incidents involving theft, injury and violations of company policies. Performs patrol of facility and grounds to include interior and exterior of buildings. Enforces company and Department of Defense (DOD) security rules and regulations.

Administers basic first aid and CPR until appropriate medical response arrives. Responds to alarms and other emergency situations.

Will notify Crisis Management Team contacts when required.

Debriefs employees possessing a Department of Defense (DOD) Personnel Clearance (PCL) and assists in completion of security questionnaires and related documents when individuals are exiting employment after normal business hours.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Interface with clients, program customers, and program sponsors. Interface within the security team by actively participating and displaying positive behaviors. Interface fully with supervision.



Basic computer skills and ability to communicate and converse by radio and telephone to ensure quick response to security related situations.

Valid drivers license issued by the Massachusetts Department of Motor Vehicles.
Consistently communicate day-to-day information with management. Demonstrate willingness to accept additional assignments or responsibilities. Possess behaviors in strong written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.

Ability to obtain and maintain a basic first aid and CPR certification.

Ability to conduct lengthy walking security tours, climb stairs and stand for long periods of time. Ability to detect warning sounds and alarms, ascertain sound direction and recognize related danger. Ability to work outside during various weather conditions to provide required patrols. Ability to screen incoming traffic to assess required authorization to access the facility including, verifying picture identification, and observing individuals to detect actual suspicious or dangerous actions, items or other violations. Ability to read, understand, communicate and abide by applicable company policies and procedures and Department of Defense (DOD) regulations associated with assigned duties.

Applicant must be capable of obtaining a U.S. security clearance.
