General Dynamics SATCOM Technologies is positioned to provide solutions for global satellite and wireless communications requirements. Our VertexRSI, Gabriel and Prodelin brands are the market leaders for base station and earth station communications products and services, VSAT antennas and antenna systems, and wireless backhaul products. I. Summary: Assembles electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems per J-Std and IPC-610 Class 3 Standards by performing the following duties with supervision.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Reads assembly documentation.
2. Receives verbal instructions.
3. Receives written instructions.
4. Identifies hardware.
5. Examines parts.
6. Aligns parts.
7. Solders parts.
8. Utilizes hand tools.
9. Utilizes equipment.
10. Routes and attaches wires and connectors.
11. Attaches hardware.
12. Seals assemblies.
13. Winds coils.
14. Reflow boards to carriers.
15. Replaces defective components and wiring.
16. Cleans assemblies.
17. Completes paperwork.
18. Uses computer and ERP software.
19. Follows ESD procedures.
20. Follows Lean Manufacturing guidelines.
21. Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
No specific education or training required. You must be able to complete our in house training programs.
Employee will work the 2nd shift on an evening schedule, most likely 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Applicant must be a US Citizen.
Applicant must be able to pass an extended background investigation (EBI) for this position.
