Responsibilities of the position - The ILS Program Manager is responsible for managing ILS-related deliverables for assigned major SATCOM Programs. This effort includes the planning, development, and implementation of Integration Logistics Support (ILS) for ground based satellite systems and equipment; all ILS elements and related logistics disciplines of systems acquisition projects, systems, equipment, and software; and the logistics management information for systems, equipment, and software, to include the development of performance-based support packages, requests for proposal (RFPs), and Statements of Work (SOWs), as required. Requirements for the position are: • BS Engineering, Mathematics, Science or Management • 8 yrs logistics experience on DOD programs involving acquisition of logistics elements for system support • Logistics planning to include establishment of maintenance and material management systems and equipment provisioning • 2 yrs management experience directing logistics personnel • 4 yrs recent experience in ILS including Test Equipment Support, Technical Data, Training and Training Support, Computer Resources Support, Packaging, Handling, and Storage and Transportation • In-depth knowledge of US Navy Supply System and integration logistics support planning and implementation.
