The successful candidate will be responsible for completely disassembling, cleaning, reassembling and testing of equipment turned in for reset. Equipment includes transit cases with a variety of CISCO routers, switches, CTM-100, VG-224, HSFEC, Netscreen, TurboIP, Media Converter, UPS, printers, laptops and IP Phones. The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of repair center documentation, tracking repairs and parts status. All documentation and procedures are governed by ISO 9001 quality standards. Must be able to interpret basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics. The candidate must be a self-starter who thrives in an environment with little supervision and be comfortable in a customer service role that frequently interfaces with military and civilian personnel of all ranks. The candidate selected must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance. This position requires a valid U.S. driver’s license. The candidate must be capable of lifting up to 70 pounds and 50 pounds frequently. The candidate must also be able to stand for long periods of time. Education/Experience Required: AS Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent trade school/military training. A minimum of one year experience in the installation, assembly, operation and/or maintenance of electronic/electro-mechanical equipment utilizing state-of-the-art technology is preferred. Must be able to operate a variety of hand and electric tools. Familiar with fiberglass case repairs and welding. Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is required.
