Job Description	General Dynamics C4 Systems performs training and simulation systems and software design, development, integration, fielding and support for civil and military based training systems. Additionally, General Dynamics develops and maintains COTS software products designed to provide rapid development and deployment of simulation based training systems. These COTS software tools include simulation networking, visualization, management and analysis capabilities utilizing standard High Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) simulation protocols. Present formal instruction to soldiers at the U.S. Army Signal School to qualify them in the duties required to perform installation, operation, and maintenance, supervision and management of Multi-Channel Transmission Systems Equipment and associated Peripheral devices. Conduct structured training courses using Tri-Tac Single Shelter Switch assemblages, Satellite Systems, TROPO (AN/TRC-170, HCLOS, Line of Site.(LOS) transmission assemblages, and laboratory training aids, training simulator devices, CBT technology, and associated training materials in support of the Transmission Systems Training. Maintain current academic and counseling records on all students enrolled in the course creating an audit trail in support of creating accepted minimum academic standards. Prepare and furnish required documents (attendance rosters, exam scores and deficiency reports) on student’s progress along with current course status to the Student Administration Section for further dissemination and processing. Test continuously for accuracy in lesson material, student guides and technical manuals, providing corrective input for a product that is consistent with contract specifications. Recommend improvements in course material and training equipment; participate in developing new course material when technology changes or course material changes. Enter official published modifications to technical manuals and update company prepared student guides to reflect changes, keeping those materials available to the students as the most current and in concurrence with information presented during the conference periods. A minimum of one year in formal course presentation is required and hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of Multi-Channel Transmission Systems. Typically requires minimum of 1 - 2 years experience. ITC Certification highly sought. Associates degree in a technical or related field of study, or equivalent work knowledge and experience with Tactical Single Shelter Switch assemblages, Satellite Systems, TROPO (AN/TRC-170, HCLOS, Line of Site.(LOS) transmission assemblages. network planning, implementation or management is desired but not required. 4-6 years experience in working with military tactical networks is desired but not required. Applicant must be capable of obtaining security clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is required. Applicant must be a US Citizen. Must be able to travel 20% of the time. Applicant must be capable of obtaining a U.S. security clearance. Applicant must be a US Citizen.
