We seek a Software Configuration Manager for all software development activities in our Shrewsbury, NJ Post Production Software Support group. Responsibilities include the following: Designs and establishes configuration management documentation, processes and tools. Analyzes external configuration management standards and requirements. Conducts CM planning, training, management, and implementation status. Performs baseline (product) management, software release and replication management, configuration item identification, and software builds. Controls configuration items, product traceability matrices, document and data electronic management, CM records and software libraries. Verifies installation procedures and documents software version descriptions. Performs change management, including the documentation of necessary ECRs and status identification. Supports CCB and have oversight on integration of Engineering Change Requests impacting software, hardware, and related documentation. Candidate will also support ISO, and CMMI initiatives. Experience in the following areas is required: BS in Engineering, Business, Computer Science or equivalent. Three years of Configuration Management experience. Must have previous experience managing multiple software baselines on large complex projects. Must have broad knowledge of CM processes and concepts. Must have the ability to work with software developers, managers, and contractors/customers. Two or more years experience with model based process improvement initiatives such as SEI CMM, CMMI, and ISO. Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance, and U.S. Citizenship is required.
