The candidate will be assigned as a field instructor on the WINT Inc 1 program developed by General Dynamics and based out of a Fort Gordon, GA office. He/she will be responsible for supporting training and system installation, operation, management and maintenance of the JNN, SSS, Battalion CP Node and associated component equipment, in accordance with ARMY and TRADOC standards. Candidate must have working experience with current US Army communications products and programs and must have operational and mission knowledge of key US Army communication and networking initiatives. Duties also include research, development and presentation of modularized training on these and voice/data network management using conference, hands-on practical exercises and demonstration techniques. Must be able to work effectively with fellow employees and the customer. Should have attended a military or civilian Instructional Training course and/or have significant experience training military students.
Minimum of an Associates Degree or equivalent experience is required.
In addition, a minimum of 5 years directly related experience is required.
Instructor Training Certification is required.
Knowledge of VOIP/EOIP and network routing and configuration is desired. The candidate for this position should have successfully completed an approved instructor training course and have two years' experience in the delivery of formal course presentation. The candidate shall possess a working knowledge of network theory and operation, and planning and managing voice/data networks. Knowledge of NetCOM, REDCOM and Cisco equipment is desirable and knowledge of tactical/commercial SATCOM networks and equipment is a plus. The candidate shall have an understanding of the curriculum development process. Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be able to pass an extended background investigation (EBI) for this position. Position Requires 60-80% travel. Must be able to travel and have a good credit history to obtain a company sponsored credit card for travel expenses.
Applicant must be capable of obtaining a U.S. security clearance.
