Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of applicable subject matter and equipment assemblages being trained and of applicable laboratory training aids, interactive multi-media training technologies and other tools and devices used to conduct training Knowledge of training processes: design, development, production, and documentation/control Knowledge of applicable General Dynamics' policies and procedures Ability to interact independently and without technical support with senior military personnel or government representatives in the analysis of complex technical information and interpret it into useable instructions for the intended audience Ability to independently install and maintain hardware and software associated with the assigned duties of the position Ability to use various software applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce training materials Must have basic analytical thinking and problem solving skills Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Understanding of business issues and company initiatives Ability to recognize learning problems and to address each appropriately Duties and Tasks Instructs customer and user personnel utilizing developed training materials in an independent environment on how to operate, maintain, and repair GDC4S/Government Furnished Equipment/Commercial Off The Shelf systems/equipment in classroom and laboratory settings while adhering to lesson plan strategies in order to maintain consistent and effective training and to maximize student training time Conducts additional classes based on instructor’s Subject Matter Expertise in response to customer needs Develops course materials including but not limited to lesson plans, student and instructor guides, student examinations, training aids, etc. while working in an environment independent of support infrastructure Conducts technical research of equipment specifications and engineering drawings, liaison with customers, engineers, and tech writers in order to gain understanding of new equipment designs using imagination, creativity, and understanding of learning processes to develop training slides, briefings, lesson plans, practical exercises, and tests, etc Researches if instructional materials should be developed in-house or purchased from outside vendors Provides direct feedback to training supervisors on required instructional techniques Provides technical telephone or face to face support in the absence of company technical infrastructure in order to resolve customers' hardware, software, and training issues Provides technical and training input to management for the development of training proposals Monitors and evaluates quality of GDC4S classroom lectures and laboratory exercises Acts as the subject matter expert for a lesson, annex of lessons, or entire equipment areas and be independently responsible for completion of training materials for assigned lessons on schedule Updates material for assigned lessons following initial training class presentations Completes training records in accordance with course requirements such as maintaining student attendance rosters, academic and counseling records, completion certificates, etc. Assumes routine duties of the Training Supervisor in his/her absence Tests students on a regular basis by administering oral, written, and practical examinations Evaluates trends to determine whether testing or training changes are needed Conducts Training Material validation Conducts peer reviews of training deliverables for content and methodology Provides basic mentoring to less qualified instructors on the duties and responsibilities expected in their position

Education and Experience
Minimum of an Associates Degree or equivalent experience is required.
In addition a minimum of 7 years directly related experience is required.
Instructor Training Certification is required.

Candidate should have at a minimum 1 year of experience in the field with the WIN-T equipment that is currently being used in Iraq or Afghanistan to include but not limited to networking theory and practices, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), and data concepts as well as experience in either the WIN-T Network operations or Node Management or duties as an S6/G6.

Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
This position requires operation of motorized vehicle.
Applicant must be a US Citizen.
Must be capable of obtaining a Security Clearance.

The candidate will be assigned to train the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) equipment such as the Battalion Command Post Node (BnCPn), the WIN-T Satellite Systems, the Joint Network Node (JNN) and their associated NETOPS, planning and IA applications at the Fort Gordon Land War Net School. They will be responsible for supporting system integration, installation, operation, maintenance and management on the WIN-T Family of equipment. The candidate will provide formal instruction on the WIN-T family of and associated equipment, in accordance with ARMY and TRADOC standards. Duties will include research, development, and presenting training on the WIN-T Systems to include the NETOPS and Network Management, Management tools using conference, hands-on as well as demonstration and classroom facilitation. Knowledge of VOIP, network routing, network security and network configuration is a must. The candidate for this position should have successfully completed an approved Instructor training course and have two years of experience in the delivery of formal course presentation. In addition, the candidate will have experience as a Network/ Node Manager, S6/G6 or have worked in the operations cell of a deployed WIN-T organization. A certification in CompTia Network plus, CompTia Security plus, Microsoft, CCNA, or other equivalent certification is preferred but not required. The candidate should possess a working knowledge of, implementing, and troubleshooting a data and voice network utilizing associated tools and techniques. The candidate should have an understanding of the curriculum development process. Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be able to pass an extended background investigation (EBI) for this position.
