Candidate will work in a team environment developing embedded software in the Secure Voice and Data Products (SVDP) organization. Candidate will be involved in all phases of the software development process including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, integration and design support. Work is accomplished in a small agile team environment. Initially work will be with more experienced technical personnel in mentor/mentee relationship.

Candidates should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) and skills in some of the following:

• Basic understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories;
• Working knowledge of software languages (C/C++/Java/etc.) and Microsoft Office applications;
• Basic understanding of the software development process;
• Good written and verbal communications skills;
• Ability to work in a team environment;
• Ability to recognize and clearly report relevant information.

Desired skills include Linux/Andriod/Green Hills operating systems, object-oriented software development, Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Cryptography.
