Are you looking for a challenging career in embedded SW development for a Software Defined Radio (SDR) including all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements, design, coding, integration, testing, documentation and technical peer reviews? Here at GDC4S you would be working both in a multifunctional team environment as well as independently. This position will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your quick comprehension of technical concepts coupled with effective written and verbal communication skills. Would you like to challenge your analytical/problem solving skills and the abilities to troubleshoot problems as they occur throughout the SW development life cycle? Are emulators, O-scopes, logic analyzers, communications analyzers something you like to work with? That’s even better. Having RF/Communications domain experience would also enhance your affectivity. We are looking for that individual that has an understanding of processes consistent with managed software development and configuration management (CM) tools (i.e. ClearCase, ClearQuest). A Basic understanding of software process and SEI/CMMI levels is also desired. We are looking for experience with:
Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, a related technical field or the equivalent experience is required. In addition, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required. Must be able to travel 20% of the time Applicant must be a US Citizen. Must be capable of obtaining a Security Clearance Ability to use lab equipment (emulators, O-scopes, logic analyzers, comm analyzers), - RF/Communications domain experience a plus, - Knowledge of software process and SEI/CMMI levels. Must communicate well and work with several different engineering functional areas. Knowledge of crypto equipment internals is a plus. - Experience with military waveforms a plus.
