Job Responsibilities DTS is a dynamic learning organization and we are seeking like-minded individuals for our growing organization. The VP, Digital Media is based in our Corporate Office in Calabasas, California and is an integral member of the Digital Media Team, reporting to the Divisional Vice President. This position is an excellent opportunity for the right person, and is key to DTS's advancement in the Digital Media space. We are looking for driven and analytically minded professionals who will execute new wins and manage new and current high profile global content relationships. Today, DTS audio is the predominant solution for Blu-ray content, and DTS is expanding that success to Streaming and DTO in the OTT and VOD ecosystems. The VP as a member of the Digital Media Team will develop and execute strategic plans for the advancement of DTS technologies on content in both established and emerging entertainment platforms. ' The VP will develop these plans in support of DTS's Consumer Division goals, DTS licensees and content partners. As a project lead, he or she will be responsible for technology deployment on content by driving and negotiating strategic alliances with principal partners, in particular digital aggregators and content providers who are vital to the success of DTS. |

| Essential Functions and Responsibilities •Focus on Business Development opportunities and project management by landscaping the North American Market and analyzing potential ecosystems for partner prioritization •Drive strategic planning in a collaborative effort, to actively develop, deliver and execute a roadmap, leading to DTS's expanded deployment in the Digital Media Space •Initiate new and advance existing 3rd party relationships in the commercial content industry •Lead and act as primary liaison between new and existing business partners and DTS's interdisciplinary teams including; Production Tools, Technical Integration, Marketing and Licensing, to assure our business partners' needs are met and DTS is providing extraordinary customer service •Manage a high degree of communication and coordination across 3 time zones (US, Asia and Europe). This includes but is not limited to: bi-weekly reporting, weekly conference calls, semi-annual on site meetings, etc •Function as a member of a highly productive, culturally diverse team, and thrive as an individual contributor in a close team environment •Develop a tactical approach to and work at; trade shows, conferences and industry associations. This including but not limited to attending, exhibiting and presenting at key digital delivery, mobile, Blu-ray and 3D industry events •Maintain association memberships, contribute and serve on industry committees and boards •Work with other DTS departments to develop programs and initiatives for digital streaming, downloads and furtherance of BD technology applications |

| Required Education and Experience • Candidate must have well established aggregator and content partner relationships, and demonstrate previous professional achievements in the digital media space - this requirement is a priority • Possess strong relationships at senior levels with key content providers in the home entertainments space • Initiate new and advance existing 3rd party relationships in the commercial content industry. This is a front line position involving substantial customer contact and interaction • Have a proven track record of alighting and managing successful partnerships and multi-faceted projects • Demonstrate a history of exceptional communications and presentation skills • Required education: Bachelors or Masters in Business or Technology • 8 years of entertainment delivery, with digital delivery a MUST • 6+ years of corporate level business development and project management experience in the digital media space is a MUST • Technical aptitude is required |
