Job Responsibilities
In this role reporting to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative HR strategies and programs to support a global organization in achieving its business goals and strategic initiatives. The primarily goals of this position: align organizational and individual capabilities with the business's strategy and needs, maximize the employee experience, and drive a robust organizational climate to attract, develop and retain the right talent to the organization. The qualified candidate will manage a wide range of HR generalist, operational and analytical activities including, but not limited to, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, rewards / compensation programs, workforce planning, employee development and engagement, and culture enhancement. This role requires a hands-on, strategic thinker who understands how to enhance the human resources function while supporting the organization in adapting to continuous growth and change.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
•Responsible for global talent acquisition strategy and execution. Confer with hiring management and leadership to identify talent needs, workforce planning strategies, effective sourcing programs and global on-boarding practices.
•Proactively establish and maintain strong relationships with management and employee base to understand the needs, requirements and challenges specific to the business.
•Play a strong role in developing the strategic and cultural strategies to support company vision.
•Responsible for gathering, tracking and analyzing data that is relevant to talent initiatives and performance: turnover, employee engagement stats, quality of hire, etc.
•Partner with the Director of Organizational Development to identify, channel and implement leadership, management and OD programs.
•Bring advice and counsel on problematic and challenging situations; coach and/or mediate with employees and managers proactively as well as reactively. Perform investigation and resolution of employee relations matters.
•Maximize the employee experience by playing a key role in the design of engagement and retention plans for the organization.
•Play a key role in helping to identify, design and implement the talent development strategy including individual, HiPo, and manager development programs.
•Serve as a key leader in organizational change-management projects, communications, and transition plans.
•Manage people processes, transactions and documentation with data precision and compliance with local legal and regulatory laws. Regularly review processes and practices for enhancements and efficiencies.
•Work with management to build an open, inclusive, DTS values-based environment that enables effective employee advocacy. Become a trusted advisor, viewed as an objective resource by both management and employee for employee relation issues.
•Initiate and manage the partnership with regional HR site coordinators to implement and refine global programs while identifying and optimizing site-specific processes / initiatives. Serve as point of contact and support for employee relation issues.
•Participate in the development and implementation of various total rewards programs including annual merit, bonus, equity planning, and reward and recognition programs.
•Oversee the process for company-sponsored immigration with candidates and employees and immigration attorney & staff.
Required Education and Experience
•Must have at least a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10+ years' experience in progressively responsible HR roles.
•Possess expert-level generalist skills and the ability to mentor and provide guidance to others within HR and the management team on complex issues. Strong consulting and analytical skills are essential.
•Significant depth and breadth of human resources strategy with strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
•Thorough experience and effectiveness with the entire recruiting life cycle coupled with high candidate presentation to offer acceptance ratios; expert knowledge of search tools/techniques and state-of-the-art sourcing and recruiting of both passive and active candidates.
•Must have experience with providing HR leadership and support in a global, multi site organization. Would prefer in-country HR experience (APAC region).
•Able to multi-task, deal with ambiguity, work in a team environment, recognize trends, and identify systematic approaches to solving problems in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
•Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills and ability to build and sustain business partnerships and to establish rapport and credibility at all levels.
•Be a strong believer in personally driving change and improvement coupled with a sense of urgency and excitement about individual and team achievement.
•Ability to effortlessly switch from thinking about programs at a higher/strategic level to producing results as both part of a team and as an individual contributor;
•Organized with an attention-to-detail approach (strong tactical execution).
•Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
•Possess demonstrated ability to bring innovative solutions to complex issues.
•Knowledge and experience with strategy planning, change management and organization development methodologies.
•Demonstrated knowledge of HR laws such as EEOC guidelines, FSLA and ADA are required.
•Must be willing to travel internationally.
•PHR/SPHR preferred.
•Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
