Job Responsibilities
DTS seeks a full-time software engineer with extensive development experience targeting mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms. This position is available within the applications team: a group of likeminded audio enthusiasts who develop innovative applications that integrate the next generation of DTS audio processing technology. The candidate will architect and develop applications that enhance the user experience of DTS audio technologies. This candidate must possess excellent programming and communication skills with experience working in a fast paced development environment with virtual teams.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include developing mobile, tablet, and desktop applications, documenting software, and working with other DTS engineers to produce customer-ready reliable technology for the consumer market. Candidate should have a good understanding of psychoacoustics, on-the-job critical listening ability and at least 3 years of proven industry experience with mobile, tablet, and desktop application development including an understanding of the audio processing pipeline for embedded multimedia systems. The preferred candidate will have experience with integrating audio SDKs into lower level APIs on Android, iOS and Windows platforms, as well as knowledge of common audio API's, multimedia frameworks, and digital signal processing. Candidates should be detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Required Education and Experience
-Master's degree in computer science or engineering with 3 years industry experience.
-Bachelor's degree and 5 years of industry experience will be considered in lieu of Master's degree.
-Mobile and tablet application development experience.
-Audio programming experience with knowledge of audio API's.
