Manage government compliance activity including DCAA compliance audits, government property compliance and technical issues related to Land Systems' compliance with CAS and FAR.
Manage relationships with the DCAA and ACO and respond to formal and informal technical requests for information or data.
Provide formal guidance through position papers or informal guidance as needed throughout the Division regarding charging questions, bid and proposal requirements and/or disclosure statement/CAS/FAR interpretations.
Provide leadership and technical direction to department staff to include staff development and fulfilling associated administrative responsibilites (performance management, timecard approvals, etc.)
 Job Requirements Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Other degreed disciplines will be considered with relevant experience.
15 years of related experience preferred
Extensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) required.
Experience with DFAR preferred.
Prior experience in government accounting in a defense contracting environment preferred.
Proven problem solving and analytical skills
Proven leadership ability and experience preferred
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in use of computer tools to include Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Willingness to work uncompensated overtime.
Occasional travel may be required
Ability to work across GDLS functions to achieve required results.
