| Job Description | General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS), headquartered in Sterling Heights, Michigan, is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics Corporation (NYSE: GD) headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia. GDLS provides a full spectrum of land and amphibious combat systems, subsystems, and components worldwide. The company designs and builds armored vehicles and subsystems for the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, and international customers, and is the defense industry’s largest supplier of armored military vehicles. Obtain working materials and tools from stock rooms and tool cribs and move empty tool chests, equipment trucks, etc. from job to job. Perform janitorial services throughout facility. Position may require bending, kneeling, stooping, crawling, and lifting upwards of 50 lbs in order to accomplish tasks. May have to operate industrial motorized vehicle, known as a scrubber, to clean and maintain facility. Operate trucks in Local and Intra-Plant Service, including such equipment as pick-up trucks and dump trucks, but excluding tractor-trailer equipment. This positon is not open at this time - submit resumes to be considered for future openings. Due to the nature of the Union contract and the current manufacturing environment, all candidates must also possess a proficient mechanical ability since employees may be shifted to meet immediate production needs. |

| Job Requirements | Must be US Citizen Work requirements for Class 4920, including cleaning machine surfaces and machine tool parts. Oil and lubricate machines and equipment. Maintain a proper supply of lubricants in oil cups and lubricating accessories according to the specifications supplied for each part of each machine, motor or piece of equipment. Operate pick up trucks, snow plow, lawn mower, and various other industrial vehicles to complete job assignments. Must have a valid state driver's license. |
