OBJECTIVES:
The Human Resources Information Systems Representative position has responsibility for supporting HR programs, processes, and projects through maintenance and monitoring of Human Resources information, development and adherence to HR policies and processes, and the support of those who utilize HR information. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and sharing HR information, testing system changes as part of go-live activities, and creating supporting documentation.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Support and maintain the systems utilized by the Human Resources, Administration and Security organizations. HR systems include Core HR Administration, Payroll, Performance Management, and other custom HR applications.
• Monitor security administration activities to ensure appropriate levels of access.
• Monitor processes to assess the quality of HR data and monitor the use of HR data throughout the organization. Propose, document, and implement new or revised processes to improve data integrity and promote the consistent use of HR data.
• Act as an escalation point for end-users who are experiencing difficulties in using HRIS systems. Research and identify the root causes for problems and own their resolution, which may require interaction HR, Payroll, or third-party vendors.
• Support implementation of new systems and processes.
• Support data integrity in systems by creating audit reports for the analysis of data.
• Design and deliver effective training to the business and HR end users of the systems to ensure maximum consistent utilization of systems.

| Job Requirements |
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree (in Human Resources Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related area).
• Strong academic knowledge of database design, business information systems, web page coding, Visual Basic, SQL Server, Access and Open Source software is required. Business application of said applications is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of computer productivity applications (e.g., MS Excel, Access, Word) required.
• Experience with multiple HR systems preferred.
• Functional knowledge of Human Resources (compensation, benefits, learning/development and supporting operations) preferred
Knowledge of process re-engineering and change management is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and excel in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to protect and maintain confidentiality of Human Resource and Company data
• Able to quickly learn new systems and tools.
