General Dynamics IT has an immediate opening for an Information Security Architect (ISA) on a Government contract. ISA will work to extend and enhance existing desktop, server, and network managed systems. ISA manages ISA will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) working directly with Government staff. SME will provide strategic and tactical analysis to IT security staff and management. SME will evaluate new technologies, tools, and processes that will potentially reduce operational risk and effectively counter threats to Government IT systems. SME will evaluate Continuity Of Operations Planning (COOP) requirements for IT Security systems and participate in COOP exercises. Requires BS/BA degree or 10+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Holds certificates in the following two areas: (CCIE, CCNP,or CCNA) and (CISP. CISA, or CISSP) and PMP desired. Requires 15+ years experience. 5+ Years in Information Systems Security and 10+ years in Networks and other Information Technology. In-depth knowledge of and experience working with Information Security Systems, Architectures, cyber threats and attacks, Intrusion Detection, Vulnerability Assessment and Countering techniques. Experience with deploying system patches, virus updates, and hardware integration is also required. In-depth knowledge of Access Control, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, Information Security and Risk Management, Compliance and Investigations, Operations Security, Security Architecture and Design, Telecommunications and Network Security. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing at a technical and layman's level with customer. |
