General Dynamics is seeking outstanding Lotus Notes Developers to join our staff of dynamic professionals. If you posses a US Government Top Secret Security clearance with FSP, please contact us today. The selected candidate should have experience with the following: • Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas. • Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts, translates detailed design into Lotus Notes based solutions. • Tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required product. • Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. • Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. • Provides technical direction to programmers as required to ensure program deadlines are met. • Expertise in Notes development to include @Formula language and LotusScript, plus knowledge of web-enabling client applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of Notes development techniques so experience in developing large multi-database or workflow applications that integrate with other systems would be a big plus. Other duties include consulting with clients to develop user requirements and effectively translating those requirements into a formal design; working with clients to make changes to existing applications; developing code or utilizing other IBM programs to interface Notes applications with other applications or databases; effectively working with other Lotus Notes administrators and developers in other areas to facilitate effective information processing; providing support for Notes users within the domain; and providing technical guidance to applications developers and other members of the project team. Requires BS/BA degree. Requires 5-10 years experience. Minimum five (5) years full software life-cycle experience with emphasis on the following: • Lotus Notes/Domino R7, R8 a plus; LotusScript; Notes API; Replication experience; System Architecture definition; Requirements definition; System Detail Design; Operations and Maintenance; Hardware Architecture; Logical Database Design; Physical Database Design; Data Conversion; Database/Application; Performance Tuning; Understanding or familiarization with the following is a plus: Java, SSL, HTTP, HTML, Windows Networking, Auditing and Lotus Notes/Domino certification a plus TS/SCI WITH FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH |
