Systems Administration (SA) shall be responsible for maintenance of the core network services and end-user intelligence system applications. SA shall assist local users with installation, training, operations and repair of Intelligence Exploitation Equipment (IEE) and other peripheral equipment such as printers, plotters, and scanners. The SA shall establish a help desk, which provides the focal point for all user issues and job tracking. Small computer maintenance entails the maintenance, loading and administration of the basic computer platform, software, firmware and hardware. The candidate will also contribute to the development of checklist, policy, and procedures for occupational duties. General tasks: • Systems Management, monitoring, and sustainment • Hardware repair for Servers, PCs, and peripheral equipment • Software installation, maintenance, and sustainment This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance. This position requires any of the following certification CompTIA A+, MCSDT, MCSA, SCSA or equivalent certification. Skill sets required: • Must have 3 years of Intelligence Exploitation Equipment support type experience • Management, monitoring, maintenance and sustainment of all Intelligence Exploitation Equipment • Install and maintain any expansions or emerging requirements therein • Leadership skills and experience are strongly desired • Experience deploying to OCONUS locations is preferable Responsible Equipment: • Network Attached Storage - File Servers • Symantec Antivirus • Printers • NDS • ArcView • ArcGIS with Extensions • RemoteView • SocketGXP • ERDAS • FalconView • Mircosoft Applications • UNIX • ADOBE Candidate must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 60 lbs. for short periods of time. Candidate must be willing to carry a weapon. Candidate will be required to deploy to austere or hazardous regions for 180 days (consecutive) in a calendar year. |
