Responsible for supporting DoD and US Federal Government activities in designing and implementing secure network and IT systems solutions with particular focus on Data Center security solutions implementing virtualization and high end storage area networks; Defines and refines security requirements; formulating sound security architectures; implementing technical security solutions; conducting technical security tests and evaluations; conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of IT systems; providing detailed risk mitigation recommendations; preparing detailed security certification and accreditation documentation in accordance with DIACAP, NIACAP or NIST methodologies; and advising supported agencies on Information Assurance requirements and processes. Minimum of Associates Degree B.S. Degree preferred Requires a minimum of 4years of direct experience implementing or managing security functionality or controls in data center environments. Requires a strong understanding of IT security and the security features contained virtualized environments including VMWare and the virtualized host operating systems. Must have minimum of 3 years of experience designing, implementing, testing and validating security configurations in MS Windows 2003 and later server Operating Systems. Must have minimum of 3 years experience in one or more of the following IT technologies: Host intrusion prevention Systems, antivirus, log analysis tools, and/or security event/incident managent systems. Requires 2 years direct experience evaluating IA controls and preparing C&A documentation; experience using automated vulnerability assessment tools. In-depth knowledge of DoD and US Government security regulations and methodologies is required. Minimum Secret clearance required. DoD 8570.01 compliant IA certification (e.g., CISSP, Security+) is required. |
