Job Description General Dynamics Information Technology is a top-tier IT integrator that provides information technology, systems engineering and professional services to customers in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, federal civil and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will perform incident and problem management to diagnose and resolve hardware, software and operational issues related to the CITS (Combat Information Transport System) ITS-S (Information Transport System - Support) systems (including, but not limited to, Cisco routers and switches, non-Cisco routers and switches, UPS equipment, wireless equipment, SONET equipment, and Network Management servers) to Air Force base level users across the world. Candidate shall provide client support and technical issue resolution via phone/email, and will be responsible for tracking and documenting customer trouble ticket issues by using the Government provided Remedy trouble ticketing system.

Duties will include:
- troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
- troubleshooting hardware systems to determine if there is a failure; then passing the information to Hardware Sustainment to replace the part if it is out of warranty
- providing support, including procedural, and documentation support, as described is CITS Technical Orders or CITS Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs)
- work continuously on a ticket until completion (including escalating to vendor OEMs for Tier 3 support, if appropriate)




Degree Requirements: 4 year college degree, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or professional certifications.

5-8 years expereince.


Required Skills:
- Phone and email communication skills.
- Solid understanding of networking technologies, system administration, and enterprise scale network topologies and equipment.
- Use of Microsoft Office Products.
- Ability to learn the Remedy trouble ticketing system.
- Candidate will need to have a Certified Wireless Network Associate (CWNA) certification, or higher, from the Certified Wireless Network Professional Alliance prior to hire.

Candidate should have or be able to obtain ITIL Foundation V3 certification within 90 days of hire (exam preparatory materials provided by General Dynamics) .
3-5+ years of relevant experience in Network Defense, Configuration, and/or Network Infrastructure products.


Active Secret Security Clearance or be able to acquire a Secret Security Clearance.
