Responsible for analyzing network security systems (LAN/WAN), telecommunications, voice systems) and/or information systems. Safeguards the network against unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure. Researches, evaluates, designs, tests, recommends communicates, and implements new security software or devices. Implements, enforces, communicates, and may develop network security policies or security plans for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications,and computer installations. Will provide the DAA recommendations on whether or not the system should be accredited based on documented residual risk. Will also ensure FISMA compliance and that documentation is recorded in the appropriate tools. *All candidates shall possess a Top Secret / Secure Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance and maintain that level of access. Clearances shall be verifiable through GDIT Security. All applicants must meet and maintain Customer suitability requirements. B.S. degree desired, CISSP strongly desired Requires 6-8 years of IA-related experience Requires hands-on experience reviewing security accreditation packages which include SSP, SAR, SRTM, Risk Assessments, Contingency Plans and other applicable security documentation. Candidate should be familiar with all phases of the DITSCAP process to include Security Test & Evaluation (ST&E) development and execution. Should possess experience with Federal Information Security Policies, Directives, Guidelines and practices. Relevant hands-on experience with FISMA, DCID 6/3, and NIST Series. Candidate will conduct periodic security reviews of all information systems, implement security safeguards. Will work closely with the System Administrators and system security engineers, to determine whether the computer systems are in compliance. Candidate should have excellent writing skills. |
