Candidate will manage and coordinate the planning, procurement, installation, test & evaluation and life-cycle support for new, existing, or expanded multi-media systems. This work will include providing direct customer support for existing multi-media systems which will often require coordination of efforts with other IT entities including Automated Data Processing (ADP) hardware and software support, telecommunication systems support, cryptographic systems support, communications infrastructure support, configuration management support and help desk support. Although not required to be an expert in these areas, candidate must be familiar with relevant IT issues, and be able to coordinate and schedule multimedia activities with these entities during the performance of this work. Candidate must be capable of working independently and be able to demonstrated working knowledge of project management on multi-media projects to include in-depth knowledge on the installation, operation, scheduling and support of desktop and conference room VTC systems, CODECs and H.320/H.323 protocols, and streaming media systems.The ideal candidate will also possess in-depth knowledge of video matrix switches, audio systems, including pre-amps, amplifiers & microphones, and video systems including projectors, DVDs, VHS VCRs, video cameras, etc. Knowledge of integrated multi-media control systems (Crestron or AMX) to include programming knowledge is highly desirable, and a key component of planned multimedia work. Please note, this position requires an active TS/SCI Clearance. Requires High School diploma or equivalent. Requires 1-3 years experience. This position is designated as a deployable position with anticipated travel to potentially hostile locations in support of Government customers depending on projects. While most project requirements are expected to be state-side CONUS or in non-hostile areas the possibility of deploying to support surveys and implementation of projects. While not certain, candidates should assume a potential for up to 50-75% of time traveling for this position. Top Secret (SCI) |
