As a member of the Guard University (GuardU) engineering team, you will be responsible for the administration of Guard University. Responsibilities shall include: • Learning Management System (LMS) environment administration and configuration • Administrator-level user technical support • Operational support of all software and hardware components of Guard University environment • Assess and identify appropriate solutions to be integrated into the systems operation and make recommendations for implementation • Have the ability to maintain quality customers services skills, strong work ethic and team player • Must possess above average skills in organization, communication and problem solving • Collaboration with current and future training department staff and customers in support of Guard University • Define LMS user roles • Manage LMS version change control • Manage the LMS test environment Requires BS/BA degree. Requires 5-8 years experience. • 2 years experience supporting and testing LMSs • Windows server 2003 Network Administrator experience • Proficient in and analyzing and troubleshooting Systems • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 administrator experience • EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) administration and configuration • Blackboard Administration experience desired • Tomcat administration experience desired • An MCSE is desired |
