The primary purpose of this position is to support the U.S. Army Aviation Warfighting Center (USAAWC) mission to provide quality SERE training to Army aircrew members and other select high-risk personnel. Principal duties and responsibilities of this position are to support the field training portion of the USAAWC SERE program; participate in the development, testing, maintenance, and delivery of training programs and related materials in support of the SERE program and its training objectives. Small Group Instructor interacting with students continuously from the beginning until the end of the Resistance Training Laboratory (RTL); uses instructional techniques to modify, predict and access student behavior; these include, but are not limited to, questioning techniques, role playing, academic situations conduct Small Group duties to perfection. Conducts training sessions and assists in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities; maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness. Updates course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance. Participate in special projects as required and assist other cadre as necessary. Associate's Degree in a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience Bachelor's Degree preferred. Typically requires 3-5 years of directly related training experience. Lifting, bending and climbing may be required in performance of duties. Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of training programs. Candidate must be familiar with office automation equipment and various software applications. Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills. conduct small group training - perform Interrogator duties and responsibilities in a professional manner - maintain the highest standards in ethical behavior at all times when in contact with student soldiers - maintain certification as a fully qualified and certified trainer as set by the US Army SERE Course Quality Assurance section |
