Under indirect supervision, senior level technical manager who oversees the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project typically consisting of a set of closely related subprograms or associated activities. Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program; seeks and develops outside funding sources, serves as principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies on operational matters, and provides day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership as appropriate to the area of expertise. Preferred candidate will be a senior manager/retired officer with recent experience managing IT O&M support services in the Army enterprise. Candidate will have in depth knowledge of Army IT operations and security governing documents. Have demonstrated ability, background, and qualifications to lead and manage an information technology services contract with a staff of over 50 IT professionals and the contract administration/management skills to perform the requirements for a contract with a value of over $50M. Candidate must have an in-depth understanding of the requirements and their responsibilities through education, knowledge and experience and must be fully committed to the success of the project. Requires BS/BA degree or IT certification Requires 8-10 years experience. Candidate must be familiar with ITIL v2 or v3 and should have at least a Foundations certification. Candidate should have PMP training/certification or equivalent with proven knowledge and experience managing IT Service Delivery and Support within the DoD Enterprise. |
