We are part of a team developing an enterprise hosting environment utilizing leading edge architecture in Quantico, VA. The candidate will have an in-depth understanding of ITIL v3 based Service Asset and Configuration Management methodology, techniques, and paradigms. Candidate should have successfully developed and implemented Asset and Configuration Management Programs on projects of significant or enterprise level for government entities. Candidate must have experience in writing/maintaining Configuration Management documentation such as Configuration Management Plans, workflows, charters, agendas, minutes, and Standard Operating Procedures. Candidate will perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requires BS/BA in related field or equivalent experience Candidate must have hands-on experience in the administration and maintenance of configuration management, inventory and audit tools. Experience with BMC Remedy/Atrium and HP Discovery toolsets and uCMDB preferred. Candidate must be detail oriented, team oriented and capable of working with a geographically diverse team. The candidate should be able to succeed under limited direction toward predefined objectives, and have the ability to independently determine and develop solutions. Candidate must have the ability to plan, monitor, and report on CM activities. Candidate must possess sharp analytical and excellent communication skills. Candidate must have the ability to train others in CM requirements, processes, and tools used to implement the CM process. Requires 10-15 years experience. Must be able to plan and coordinate meetings; write reports; conduct analysis of events; be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word, EXCEL, Visio, SharePoint, and Power Point. Required: ITIL Foundations Certification Desired: The candidate should have one or more of the following certifications: ITIL Practitioner Certification BMC Atrium Skilled Professional BMC Certified Professional AR System 7.5 Administrator ASE HP Service Manager Software Design and Tailoring v7 AIS - HP Change and Configuration Management Software AIS - HP Universal Configuration Management Database v7 AIS - HP Service Management Software |
