Team Leader, Individual Training Branch
GENERAL: Provides daily administrative support and supervision of work assignments to a team of 3 to 5 personnel. Prepares and submits yearly performance appraisals, salary reviews, and bonus recommendations for assigned team members. In addition to supervisory duties, the Team Chief is a Lead Platform Instructor and resident Subject Matter Expert (SME) for new operator and operator sustainment training curriculums for a specific C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) system(s). Responsible for initial instructor and SME training of personnel assigned instructor duties for that specific C4ISR system(s). Works under the direct supervision of the Individual Training Branch (ITB) Chief and assists the ITB Chief in all aspects of preparation and execution of C4ISR system training.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for daily Supervision and administrative supervision of a training team comprised of 3 to 5 personnel. Supervises and manages team members' work assignments, training schedules, travel requirements, and vacation / leave time. Prepares and submits yearly performance appraisals, salary reviews, and bonus recommendations for assigned team members.

? Planning and coordination of training events for their system of responsibility
? Training events must be planned in sufficient quantities to meet the existing or projected needs of the customer.
? resource planning, classroom preparation and appearance, development of training schedules,
? overall professional execution of training for their system(s) of responsibility.
? Supervises instructors performance related to:
? Student enrollment
? Student attendance and academic reports preparation
? Reports entry into the Digital Training Management System (DTMS).
? Preparation of records of training activities, student rosters, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
? Submission of reports in a timely manner to the Individual Training Branch Chief.
? Preparation of student survey and demographic data for completeness and accuracy.

? Prepares and submits yearly performance appraisals, salary reviews, and bonus recommendations for assigned team members

? Administrates the Instructor Certification and Subject Matter Expert (SME) training for personnel assigned instructor duties to their system(s) of responsibility.
? Directly responsible for the quality of classroom instruction
? Sole certifying official that the instructor is technically proficient with the software
? Sole certifying official that the instructor is tactically proficient with classroom presentations prior to being authorized to instruct students.
Battle Command Training Center's Lead Instructor and SME for a specific C4ISR system(s).
? Develops, organizes, and maintains a Training Support Package (TSP) for assigned system(s) of responsibility that encompasses new operator and sustainment training for basic operator, system integration, and senior leader.
? Utilizes official system Program / Product Manager's training products as the basis of the TSP development and updates the TSP on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance of training material.
Responsible for maintaining technical proficiency with the software, and tactical proficiency with classroom presentations for multiple C4ISR systems to assist other individual level C4ISR training within the Battle Command Training Center. Participates in special projects as required.


Requires BS/BA degree.

Requires 2-5 years experience.
