This position is located on the USMC Base Quantico near Stafford, VA. Real-world hands-on network implementation experience"with ITIL certs being strongly preferred Responsible for ensuring service monitoring and the Event Management process are implemented and performed according to the agreed and documented process and is meeting the requirements of the process definition. Ensure that all relevant staff has the required training in the Event Management process. Develop and implement detailed workflows and procedures. Track and communicate technical and information requirements. Addresses and corrects any issues with the operation of the process by interfacing with the Government. Define and agree to key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the process, review KPIs, and improved the performance of the process. Represent service monitoring in regular meeting and provide process updates to management. Produces regular and accurate management reports. 1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. 2. Masters Degree Preferred. 15-20 years of related software development experience. ITIL V3 Foundations, ITIL V3 Service Operations or Operational Support and Analysis certification. Must have a DoD Secret Clearance or be able to obtain one. Military or DoD experience preferred. US Citizen. |
