This is an exciting opportunity for to join a Top-Tier Systems Integrator in one of the most technologically advanced parts of GDIT - the Army Infrastructure Sector. This is an opportunity to join a new program for a design, build and install a new building-wide telecommunications backbone to provide integrated voice, video and data communications over unclassified and classified DoD networks, supporting more than 6,000 users.

We are looking for an experienced individual with excellent communication skills to oversee the development of design and implementation of IT solutions for customers moving into newly constructed areas of the new facility. The candidate will work as part of the team that guides the customer in requirements definition and establishes IT Systems capabilities required for Tenants moving into the new space. The candidate will work with engineers to get the correct systems engineered. Work with management to get the solution priced and proposed to the customer, if necessary. Coordinate with construction, the government and other Information Technology contractors to ensure all necessary preparations are known and completed on time. Tracks progress of the contractor's installation and testing of all passive and active aspects of the data, voice and video systems. Ensures the job stays on schedule. Supervises the customer's move in and activation of all IT systems.


Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.

Requires 5-8 years experience.

Candidate must have a working knowledge of IT (voice, video and data) systems and technologies available. Must have experience working with IT systems and interacting with customers/users. Must have ability to discuss user system requirements with users and with engineers. Must be able to provide level one troubleshooting of IT systems and to assist technicians with level two and three.

1. Understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) systems and policies.
2. Candidates are required to have one of the following certifications within three months of hire:
Network+, Security+, A+, CISSP, CISA, SCNP, GSEC, SSCP, SCNA, GSE
