Administer: New deployment of x86 servers including installation of MS Server 2003, 2007, XP operating systems, FBI baseline software. · Perform site surveys, determine and document installation site requirements at both headquarters and field office locations · Provide recommended server requirements in order to insure accuracy of equipment purchased · Perform equipment staging, prior to deployment · Deploy proper server and peripheral equipment and assist with installation when required · Provide accurate documentation to ensure standardized deployment of servers and associated equipment · Provide customer support as needed Requires BS/BA degree. Requires 8-10 years experience. MS Windows 200x, XP Systems Administration · X86 hardware platforms including Dell 1950, 2950, R900 · Dell PowerVault MD1000 disk · Mod 2161-DS KVM |
