Provide Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) software administration support, including installation, testing, and integration of new TSM software releases · Provide daily monitoring and management of data backups to ensure successful completion · Take corrective action for any data backup that does not complete successfully · Provide data restore services as requested and/or required · Provide support for the Servergraph monitoring software configuration · Provide statistics showing successful completion of data backups, estimate future growth of backup data · Manage archival of data at both local and remote sites · Assist with decommissioning and removal of servers as needed. Ensure data is successfully backed up and properly stored in the event restore is necessary · Install, test, and support Cristie Bare Metal Restore software in support of the distributed server backups · Install, test, and support TSM LAN free backup for the Linux client in order to improve support · Provide customer support as needed Requires BS/BA degree. Requires 8-10 years experience. TSM software installation and administration · MS Windows 200x, XP, Linux, Solaris, AIX systems administration · Servergraph software installation, administration |
