Candidate will provide local and remote TIER II computer support for U.S. Army Reserve organizations in a geographical area. Candidate will work under the direction of the USARC G2/6 Enterprise Services Division/USAR Data Center to resolve technical issues and maintain appropriate levels of service to USAR customers. Supporting command is the 416th EN CMD Duties include resolving non-technical and routine technical problems via phone, email, remote technologies and touch labor in support of personal computers, local print and data file servers, applications software, and basic network communications. Candidate will work trouble tickets assigned from the centralized service desk. Requires BS/BA degree. Industry recognized IT certifications are a plus (A+, Security+, etc.). Must be capable of attaining Level II certification within 6 months of employment. Candidate must be ITIL Foundation certified or capable of obtaining ITIL Foundation level certification within 60 days of hire. Requires 5-8 years experience. ITIL experience desired or similar best practices desired |
