PROJECT ENGINEER HVAC/GENERATOR MECHANIC JACKSONVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (Camp LeJeune) SECRET CLEARANCE (Ability to gain Secret Clearance) REQUIRED THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE ALMOST IMMEDIATE DEPLOYMENT TO HAZARDOUS DUTY LOCATIONS Individual hired for this position should have demonstrated experience in performing the following functions: -Troubleshoot and fault isolate malfunctions on power generation, power distribution, and HVAC systems, utilizing test equipment and/or manual troubleshooting procedures (MTPs), common and special tools and applicable technical documentation. -Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines. -Repair wiring harness and related electrical components. -Complete maintenance and administrative forms and other paperwork related to performance of duties. -Repair and troubleshoot test equipment. -Read and interpret troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures and flow diagrams for systems, subsystems and components. -Requires High School diploma or equivalent. -Industry recognized certification required; EPA Certification for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Section 608. (Type II or Universal). - Two years of directly related experience for HVAC equipment. - A minimum of one year experience for diesel engines required. - Experience in computer operation and maintenance tracking software a plus. - Requires travel to remote CONUS/OCONUS and crisis areas. - This position is designated as a deployment position. Work may include duties in improved and unimproved maintenance facilities as well as field environment. Duty locations could have potential exposure to temperature extremes in performance of duties. Deployments require ability to pass a required deployment physical. -Must be able to obtain a U.S. government Secret/upgrade toTS/SCI security clearance, passport and visa. |
