General Dynamics is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst that will supervise Business and Financial Analysts in the establishment of business system information requirements for a Department of Defense (DoD) maintenance and logistics environment, via the application of budget development and management, and use business process improvement techniques. Using the analysis of the information engineers, technical team members and customers, the Senior Business Analyst will further the development and utilization of an enterprise-wide and large scale information system. Provide support for business process improvement, LEAN, and ERP development efforts. Lend maintenance and logistics experience to the design, architecture and planning of business systems, to include the software, hardware, and communications required to provide a common operating environment that is compliant with DoD agency and regulatory standards/guidelines. Evaluate analytically and systematically issues associated with work flows, organization, and planning; and develop appropriate corrective action. Apply knowledge of large system maintenance, programmed maintenance, cycle times, asset management and processing. Support the development of organizational strategy, by providing DoD specific insight, knowledge, and understanding as it applies to the utilization of resources within a Aircraft Depot Maintenance environment. Work directly with senior leadership in the drafting of said organizational strategy. Candidate should have proven Logistics and/or supply chain experience (AF specific experience a strong plus). Requires BS/BA degree. Requires 10-15 years experience. Preferable Technical Experience: MS Windows and MS Office Suite including MS Access, Familiarity with DOD IT/Maintenance/Logistics systems, Oracle Financials, Oracle Discoverer, IBM MAXIMO, Quest TOAD, SQR, PL/SQL Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret clearance. |
