Provide customer support for the completion of telephone moves, adds, and changes (MAC) associated with Avaya switching platforms. · Respond to customer inquiries related to MAC requests · Assist customer in the preparation of MAC requests · Verifying accuracy of received MAC requests and assess scope of work. · Order MAC material, establish installation schedule based on contract performance standards and material/technician availability. · Perform remote MAC programming that may include but is not limited to establishing new dial tone, changing existing dial tone and associated features, reset voice mail passwords, etc. · Dispatch technicians to sites for the performance of MAC work · Provide MAC pricing to program management office · Create MAC tickets, associated work orders and material requests, update and close out MAC tickets when work is completed · Maintain contact with customer providing status on work completion and ensure customer expectations are met. · Follow-up with technicians to ensure paperwork is completed properly and submitted on time. · Perform other duties as assigned. Associate degree in a related technical discipline the equivalent of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience. Must have excellent written and verbal skills. Completion of Avaya courses a plus. Two to five years experience performing MAC work on Avaya G3, G3SI, S-8500 telephone systems and Audix voice mail systems. Eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Position of Public Trust, SF85/Criminal Background Check. |
