Must have a full understanding of the Asset Computerized Maintenance System programs, functions, and the use of the data captured in the ALMIS program. Graphic Users Interface (GUI) ACMS Character Based reports Electronic Asset Logbook (EAL) Working knowledge of the interface with related ALMIS database tables. Extract information from the ACMS database Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office programs Excel Microsoft Word MS Project MS PowerPoint This tasking includes, but is not limited to: 1. Responsible for completion of the MPC revisions. Research CG22s, QA completed documents. 2. Develop and maintain the ACMS database for Asset maintenance requirements. 3. Develop and maintain the Asset configuration. 4. Resolve data discrepancies pertaining to asset maintenance. Each incident resolved is reviewed to determine the source, and possible preventive measures. 5. Resolve data discrepancies pertaining to Asset operations (EAL and ACMS status and transfers) 6. Resolve data discrepancies pertaining to asset operating statistics (ACMS/EAL). 7. Verify and correct user errors using the Graphic User Interface (GUI). 8. Review Significant Component History Records (SCHR) ensuring logical sequence of recorded events and updates as required. 9. Enrollment data verification. 10. Verify Part Number and Manufacture name exists in the database, and consolidate errant part types if discovered. 11. Review logical sequencing of events and aging (Used parts) 12. Enter concise statements to describe history events as needed (Used parts). 13. Ensure currency of maintenance requirements: Scheduled and unscheduled (TCTOs, S/Bs, special inspections). 14. Verify status and ensure proper approval for components that users request to be scrapped or condemned. 15. Verify status and ensure proper approval for user requests to make inactive components active. 16. Validate asset and components Time Since New (TSN) logical growth. 17. Periodically review life limit requirements for changes and applicability. 18. Periodically review the component-monitored list for validity. 19. Maintain the Part Number/Manufacturer table integrity. 20. Routine research to include isolation of individual transactions in data cataloged by job or event in ACMS, Asset Statistics, and Operations or Electronic Logbook tables. Typical ACMS research includes resolution of part installation/removal sequences and aging. 21. Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or task (s) in support of GDIT and its efforts to assist the U.S. Coast Guard and our prime contractor. Serve as GDIT's onsite lead for adminstrative tasks, including: a. Provide program management support. b. May be required to develop and deliver documentation regarding assigned subject matter such as presentations, white papers, and other technical and/or program documents. c. Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management or liaison with the prime contractor. d. Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate supervisors. e. Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting. f. May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks. g. Conducts planning and provides recommendations to Program Manager (PM) and/or Prime Contractor, and client (when directed) on task workload. h. Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary prime and/or client liaison. i. Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the PM, the prime, and/or client when assigned. j. Coordinates development of deliverables and products. k. Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables. l. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. m. Assists with interviewing, hiring, and other personnel actions n. Assists with employee goal setting and administering personnel evaluations, make salary recommendations o. Assists with contract administration duties such as preparation of monthly status report, budget development, and task projections. Coordinate input of monthly progress reports and forward to GDIT program manager for approval and submittal to government and prime contractor. p. Reviews and approve employee timesheets and expense reports q. Awareness of financial management responsibilities and assists with upon request. r. Assists with business development efforts s. Participates in special projects as required Security and Access The general Analyst requires knowledge of system security and access, using SQL and locating data within the ACMS Analyst Graphical User Interface (Analyst GUI) and character based system. Position Requirements Coast Guard Marine Maintenance background including related maintenance documentation. Familiar with computer use including word processing, spreadsheets and relational database software. A combination of specific marine and small vessel maintenance background and computer experience are essential Requires BS/BA degree. Requires 5-8 years experience, including supervisory experience • Familiar with computer use including word processing, spreadsheets and relational database software. • Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint. • Must possess strong organization and communication skills in order to provide outstanding customer technical support Candidate must be prepared to serve as a technical and program resource for the USCG and prime, and perform supervisory functions for GDIT personnel |
