| Job Description | General Dynamics Information Technology is a top-tier IT integrator that provides information technology, systems engineering and professional services to customers in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, federal civil and commercial sectors. This position is more business driven, MBA types. This position is not IT driven. 1. Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management. 2. Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate supervisors. 3. Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting. 4. May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks. 5. Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload. 6. Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison. 7. Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client. 8. Coordinates development of deliverables and products. 9. Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables. 10. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. 11. Participates in special projects as required. 1. Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience. 2. Professional certification (PMP) preferred. 8-10 years of related experience, including supervisory experience. Requires 3-5 years experience and proven ability at the intermediate level in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Self-starter and detail oriented with the ability to function in a high-energy environment. Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills required. Ability to envision and create long term goals and plans, across multi-dimensional projects. Utilize professional background to identify, develop, and increase business opportunities focused on building and maintaining appropriate contacts outside the existing opportunities. Be able to allocate resources as needed in managing assigned projects. Ability to set and manage customer and sponsor expectations. Communicates effectively with faculty, staff, and partners to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions. Experience with conflict resolution. Ability to manage processes related to innovative change, effectively. |
