Serve as a Programmer for AMC G-3/5 Support Operations in support of "Active Army World-Wide Bottoms-Up-Reconciliation". Builds and codes applications and/or models using various computer programming languages to support a Bottoms-Up- Reconciliation (BUR) of all active army units' supply accounts and provide Business and Analytical support to Unit, Supply Support Activity (SSA), and Commodity Command Standard System (CCSS) and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) sites as they relate to each appropriate level of the BUR. Participate in working groups where requirements are defined that directly relate to the execution of the tasks contained in this PWS. Additionally, we will identify interface and interoperability deficiencies of tactical and national logistics Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) and document concerns and program schedule impacts based upon the availability of interfaces required to maintain the reconciliation processes. Provide analysis and evaluation of Unit Level STAMIS. Experience could include (Unit Level Logistics System (ULLS) and Standard Army Maintenance System - Enhanced (SAMS-E), or Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) and Supply Support Activity Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS-1), or SARSS 2AC/B. Provide training for those STAMIS operations that are essential to the reconciliation process. Provide a detailed listing of all potential Dormant Department Of Defense Activity Address Code (DODAACs) in a report that allows Routing Identifier Code Geographic (RIC GEO) Managers to review and take corrective actions in removing invalid open Class II, III(P), IV, VII and IX requisitions for customers that are no longer supported by the specified SSA. Provide analysis, facilitation, expert advice, and assessment relating to the following business management initiatives including end-to-end synchronization support for issues with supply and financial transactions processed in and/or exchanged between all information management systems used to support supply operations. Know the policies, procedures, and standards of the Army. Work to streamline processes and procedures that are integrated into the existing program, and work closely with the Directorate staff daily. Interface in the logistics system between the national level logistics systems and end item users at the unit level. Additional responsibilities include:
1. Plans, develops, tests, and documents mainframe-resident and client/server applications programs.
2. Generates new code and corrects, converts, and/or modifies existing code to meet specifications.
3. Prepares detailed specifications from which code will be written.
4. Confers with end-users to analyze specified methods and procedures, identify problems, and document specific requirements.
5. Writes and updates technical documentation such as users' manuals, product specifications, and training materials.
6. Performs a variety of testing procedures on assigned products, analyzes test results, and corrects problems.
7. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
8. Participates in special projects as required.
9. Some short term travel both CONUS and OCONUS may be required.

Requires BS/BA degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience..

Requires 2-5 years of directly related computer programming experience.

Must be knowledgeable of C Sharp (C#) programming language and familar with PBUSE, SARSS-1, SARSS-2AC/2B, Informix 4GL database management system (DBMS), SAMS-E (merges ULS functionality intoSAMS-1/SAMS-2) runs on a notebook computer using Windows XP and knowledge of the Oracle 10g, relational database.
