This individual will be a member of a web development team, building new travel and finance based systems, migrating legacy client server applications to a web architecture, and possibly some O&M tasks to support the new systems. Ability to work on a collaborative team to provide high-quality product to its customer. Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Ability to provide input to and write technical documentation. Excellent communication skills. Ability to mentor more junior developers. Ability to work with other teams on integration, design, and implementation. Ability to complete assigned work according to the project schedule. Ability to adjust to changing priorities. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. 8-10 years of related software development experience. Requires minimum 4 years Java/JEE experience. Mandatory Skills: • Java/JEE APIs • JSP, Javascript, JSTL, Custom Tags • JQUERY • CSS, HTML, XML • Spring Framework • Hibernate or other ORM Framework • MyEclipse/Eclipse • Subversion / Subeclipse Desired Skills: • Web Service technologies • AJAX / JSON • Tomcat or other web application server • Oracle or other relational database • Ant • JUnit • Networking experience • Knowledge and experience with 508 user accessibility guidelines
