Job Description General Dynamics Information Technology is a top-tier IT integrator that provides information technology, systems engineering and professional services to customers in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, federal civil and commercial sectors. Candidate must under minimal supervision, act as a member of the Exchange Admin support for the Army's CONUS E-mail organization team in providing timely assistance with troubleshooting, end user support for on and off hours issues for senior managers. Provide technical support to managers of Exchange at remote installations. Perform common preventive system maintenance for hardware and software. Support implementation of hardware and software solutions. Validate successful implementation of changes and monitor effects of the modifications. Collaborate in assessing current and expected Exchange infrastructure capacity needs, configuration, maintenance, and optimization. Create documentation including standard operating procedures, system inventories, and configuration baselines. Provide after hours on-call support on a rotating basis. Must be dedicated to excellent customer service; have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels; and ability to work effectively in a team setting for monitoring the Army Enterprise Exchange 2003 organization and maintenance of bridgehead, front end, back end, IS, and SMTP gateway servers Tier 1 and 2 Exchange problems.

Requires BS/BA degree equivalent experience in lieu of degree or related certifications

Requires 2-5 years experience with small to large Exchange (front end, back end, and Bridgehead) enterprise operations, message routing and troubleshooting, and server maintenance with Windows Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2003. Experience
with Microsoft Operations Manager, ISA Server 2006, and clustering administration a plus.
Ability to work well within a team environment administering Exchange 2003 and Microsoft Active Directory. Must have strong system and network troubleshooting skills. Extensive working knowledge of Windows 2003 Server, Exchange 2003, Active Directory, DNS, Group/Security policies in an enterprise network environment. Assist with Analyzing, logs, tracks and resolves software/hardware matters of significance pertaining to networking connectivity issues, servers, and applications to meet business needs. Experience using remote desktop client to administer Windows 2003 Member server.


Currently has Secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
