Job Responsibilities (but not limited to the following): (1) Provide internal and external organizational liaison, including participation in necessary events and activities within J9 as well as other JFCOM directorates, Allied Command Transformation, JCD&E Enterprise partners to include COCOMs, coalition partners, Services, agencies, etc. (2) Respond to command "Taskers" to include follow-ups to ensure answers are provided as directed and required. (3) Provide planning, design, and control of all aspects of experimentation and its' attendant documentation (preparation, planning, execution, training, rehearsal, facilitation, reporting, and transitioning) or support products for any assigned project (4) Provide written reviews and assessments of planning, design, and control of all aspects of experimentation and its' attendant documentation (preparation, planning, execution, training, rehearsal, facilitation, reporting, and transitioning) or supporting products for any assigned project as directed and required (5) Maintain and update project planning tools with current information for any assigned project as directed and required. This includes, but is not limited to, databases, calendars, web sites, enterprise portals, and other JCD&E data repositories and/or tools with relevant information concerning experimentation standards, project outcomes, lessons learned, objectives, organizations, events, concepts, objectives, tasks, observations, products, findings, insights and recommendations (6) Develop experimentation information or training briefings, Executive Summaries (EXSUMs), trip reports, After Action Reports (AARs), presentations, fact sheets, professional journal articles, pamphlets, talking papers, handbooks, meeting minutes, input to senior decision-maker reviews, Joint Mission Essential Tasks, etc. as directed and required (7) Provide appropriate project management approaches and recommendations to the CCSES Division Head as related to the execution of any assigned project (8) Coordinate for ESG core support services for Operations and Integration, Process Quality, and Project Support Divisions, Engineering and Technology Support Department (ETSD), and Research & Analysis (R&A) Department and other JCD&E Enterprise functions as directed and required (9) Provide coaching and mentoring related to defining and management of planning, design, preparation, execution and reporting requirements as directed and required to customers external to J9 (10) Provide experimentation project design expertise and support for pre-project development including, but not limited to, determining the project scope and size requirements, recommended level and type of support by function or skill set, and recommendation options for leveraging or meeting requirements as directed and required (11) Review and comment on external customer products and materials, and contribute to the development of scenarios and vignettes as directed and required (12) Participate as subject matter experts, role players, or senior advisers in meetings, conferences, workshops, wargames, and experiments with stakeholders, combatant commands, the Services, national and external agencies as directed and required (13) Participate and represent scenarios in "Red Teaming" and adversary vulnerability assessments as directed and required (14) Prepare and coordinate announcement messages, event control documents, participant guides, and all related event execution aids as directed and required (15) Assist in developing technical architecture documents as directed and required Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or a business related field Ten (10) years experience in a U.S. military agency in progressively responsible command and staff positions. Experience in at least two (2) of the following: (1) Experience with service and joint doctrine, to include combat, combat support, and combat service support operations; (2) Extensive experience with joint/combined staffs organization, functions and procedures; (3) Extensive experience with Joint service organizations, operations, and exercises at levels comparable to Army Corps, Numbered Air Forces and Numbered Fleets; (4) Experience in the preparation/conduct of seminars, study groups and map exercises for general and senior field grade officers; (5) Experience in conducting instruction in both small and large group formats; (6) Experience in the conduct of post exercise effectiveness analysis and evaluations; (7) Experience in the compilation and presentation, in both written and oral formats, of lessons learned and after action review material; (8) Experience with joint and service doctrine, to include combat, combat support and combat service support operations. (1) Must hold a TS/SCI security clearance (2) Must be able to travel both nationally and internationally to support COCOM and Service experimentation requirements between 60 - 90 days during the period of performance (3) Must have a current passport |
