Shall be responsible for implementation of enterprise class applications for platform and infrastructure management, including design, engineering, setup, configuration, rollout, troubleshooting, maintenance, migration, upgrades, uninstallation, decommissioning. Responsible for patch deployment, validating new tasking and CERTs which are required to be processed or POAMed, maintenance of Active Directory at the domain level, Group Policy Objects, image troubleshooting. Also responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows workstations and servers. Performs software installations and upgrades to Windows operating systems and layered software packages. Advises on improvement of standard operating procedures Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Certifications required: MCSA 2003 or higher, Security or equivalent. 5-10 years consulting experience. 10-15 years of directly related experience in network analysis and design. Expertise in the following areas preferred: configuration and maintenance of server farms running SharePoint MOSS 2007 and/or Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server. Other desirable areas of expertise: Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, Visual Studio and VBScript software development, Exchange 2007/2003 troubleshooting, WSUS patch deployment. Windows Server clusters, McAfee HBSS/HIPS issues, image troubleshooting, Oracle database administration, Windows XP and Office 2007 internals, locking down workstations, SMS/SCCM software distribution, SQL Server 2008/2005/2000. |
