Software Engineer: Works as part of a government/contractor team developing software products to integrate a Multi-Functional Color Display (MFCD) into the HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter avionics system. Develops software using various languages and complilers including but not limited to; Ada95, Professional Pascal, Microsoft Assembly, C, C++, Jovial and inaPC. Also required is proficiency in Windows operating systems including 2000 and XP as well as VRTX and VxWorks embedded operating systems. These individual mustl be able to answer coding and other technical questions in a help desk type format. Assists with software validation tests in the EISE laboratory at Robins AFB, GA. Provides engineering assistance for the interface between the MFCD hardware developed software and government developed software to ensure interoperability between the two software products. Participates in Computer Software Configuration Item (CSCI) and Bench System testing. Requires BS/BA in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science Requires 5-10 years experience. a. Developing software using MIL-STD-1553 bus communications b. Software development of Ethernet communication using the TCP/IP protocol model for embedded systems. c. Software development using Ada95. d. Software development using C and C++. e. Software development using Professional Pascal. f. Software development using Microsoft Assembly. g. Software development and modification of the inaPC tool set. Must have progressive experience in computer simulation, client-server architectures, advanced networking techniques and protocols, data bases (flat-file, relational, and object-oriented), high-order programming languages, and operating systems (e.g., UNIX/ULTRIX, HP-UX, SUN-OS, VAX/VMS, Harris VOS) Experience with military test equipment desired. Ability to write, test, analyze and troubleshoot software code. |
